All children who are admitted will be given professional counselling and reports are generated.
Based on the counselling and reports alternative options for the child is checked for his/her best rehabilitation such as sponsorship, foster care, family-based care, adoption etc. If no alternative options are suitable as a final resort child will be given institutional care.
Based on the best interest of the children and recommendations of the home team an Individual Care Plan will be prepared.
All ICPs are updated every 15 days for the first 3 months and once a month thereafter.
Based on the ICP all children are given education, vocational training, open school facility and other suitable options.
Children who completed 15 years of age will be given career guidance and counselling and updated in ICP.
From 15 years of age the planning for After Care is started along with personalized ICP.
As a part of aftercare, the child is counselled for choosing a suitable course or area to work on in future.
Meetings with various donor NGOs and linking with suitable Government schemes are initiated for the placements of children after 18 years of age.
Once child completed 18 years of age the ICP and child’s future plan is submitted to CWC for the orders, also the supporting NGOs /agencies details are shared with CWC.
Monthly follow up is done by the concern CCI and recorded in reports of all children who are placed in after care programs.
